In my 38 years with Chem-Trend I have experienced a lot of changes. Changes within the industries – for example, the shift towards e-mobility or the increasing awareness for sustainability. Fundamental global changes in the working environment due to COVID. And obviously, these changes have also affected our life at Chem-Trend. Part of my role is to foresee challenges in our industries to be able to stay ahead of the game. I think Chem-Trend has done a great job in the past: back in 1960, our founder had already seen the potential of water-based release agents. Since 2023, our product portfolio is free of PFAS. We need to stay agile.
