Excited to see the great construction progress of the Willow Grove affordable housing community for families and farmworkers in Reedley, CA. The development broke ground on June 26, 2024. Congratulations to the great development team at Chelsea, and the Emmerson Construction crew who are bringing this beautiful development to life! Fun fact: Reedley is an agricultural community in southeast Fresno County. More fresh fruit produce is grown and shipped from Reedley than from any other area in the world. Willow Grove will give more than 80 farmworkers and their families a beautiful, affordable place to call “home.”

We're thrilled to announce the successful Grand Opening of Jacaranda Gardens, bringing 96 much-needed affordable apartments to El Centro. This marks Chelsea Investment Corporation's fourth affordable housing development in the city, deepening our partnership with local leaders and reaffirming our commitment to the community. Together, we're not just building homes – we're cultivating opportunities and strengthening neighborhoods. Our ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday signaled a new chapter for residents and a step forward in addressing El Centro's housing needs. We're proud to play a role in creating vibrant, accessible communities where families can thrive.

Today marked the Grand Opening of Jacaranda Gardens, a 96-unit affordable housing complex located at 1625 North Waterman Avenue in El Centro. This milestone event underscores our enduring commitment to providing high-quality, affordable housing for community members in need. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City of El Centro, its visionary city council, and dedicated staff for allocating this land to enhance the lives of hardworking El Centro residents. Their foresight and support have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. Jacaranda Gardens represents Chelsea Investment Corporation's fourth affordable housing development in El Centro, further solidifying our partnership with the city and our dedication to addressing the housing needs of the community.

On Thursday, September 12, Weingart Center Association received the Supportive Housing Developer of the Year Award presented by Southern California Association of NonProfit Housing (SCANPH) during its Homes Within Reach awards ceremony. Those in attendance included President & CEO of the Weingart Center, Senator Kevin Murray (ret) Weingart Center BOD Chair, Dave Jones, the Weingart Center Real Estate Development Team, representatives from Chelsea Investment Corporation, and a host of others. A great day with a fantastic team!
