    I've been working in the NFC space for a while now, and it's surprising how little talk there is about its potential applications. With the release of iOS 18.1, Apple has expanded NFC capabilities A LOT, and I believe this could be a game-changer for many industries. NFC isn't just about contactless payments anymore; it's about creating seamless interactions between people, devices, and services. I'm betting it's going to redefine how people interact with businesses in-person. But I guess I'm biased.. ??     It's inspiring to be surrounded by builders who are at the bleeding edge of their field. Y Combinator has put together such a diverse group of talent -- you got folks in this picture working on anything from AI to open source authentication to cheap anti-ship missiles... ??     ?? The best startups start in a garage... right? I bet you didn't know Cheers (YC S24) did too. AND our first process for producing NFC cards was so toxic, (literal hydrochloric gas was being produced) I drove to The Home Depot to buy the nicest respiratory mask I could find. ?? Did I still inhale some microplastics? Probably. But I LOVED that time, and I'm grateful for it. What Ernesto and I are building here at Cheers is something we're truly STOKED about. ??     There's no special framework for getting top-notch feedback from your customers (Or is there??) ?? Just kidding! There isn't.. ?? It's all about keeping it simple and genuine. The goal is to build trust and have them willing to leave a review. But... ...Don't expect them to bring it up by themselves. You have ask! (Yeah! You might be nervous, I know. Just do it!) It might seem difficult to ask, but it’s pretty simple actually. You could easily: - Send a follow-up email or text after a purchase - Ask right after a purchase - Make It easy for them by using Cheers Smart Badges ??
