CheckPoint recently completed this multi-point scale inhibitor system for a drilling platform in Africa. The triple-pump (2x working + 1 standby) configuration of this system enables 14-point injection batch dosing at rates of 28 USG/D (107 L/D) at 1,500 PSIG (103 BARG). The reliability of this system is secured by our Series SLA LeakLess electric pump, which was designed to ensure no leak path to atmosphere, whilst maintaining the increased reliability, longevity, and high-pressure capacity that plunger pumps offer. Virtually eliminating seal wear, LeakLess has delivered over 200,000,000 strokes (3.5 years of continuous operation) at 10,000 PSI in harsh field conditions, without requiring any maintenance. Engineered to thrive in the inhospitable Eurasian Steppe, this completely winterized corrosion inhibitor skid is designed to withstand temperatures as low as -46 °C. Housed by a 40ft container featuring an electrical heat tracing system rated to -46 °C, this system includes a temperature-controlled interior workspace, ensuring optimal equipment performance regardless of external ambient temperatures. 6x 1250-series pneumatic pumps (3x operational and 3x standby) complement an insulated 316SS ironclad 10,000-liter storage tank with a built-in heater and an array of instrumentation for monitoring system performance.
