Flood storage recovery efforts are underway at many of our tributary dams and along the Tennessee River. These operations will make room in our system for the next storm, so river flows will continue to be high. Over the next few days, the lock at Fort Loudoun Dam in Lenoir City, Tenn., and the Tennessee River Gorge below Chattanooga, Tenn., will be closed to commercial navigation because of high river flows.
