We're incredibly proud to announce the completion of the inaugural Chattanooga Tech Accelerator cohort in Data Analytics! Starting with over 180 applicants, we selected 8 exceptional individuals who demonstrated remarkable dedication - attending intensive style training Monday through Friday from 5:30-8:30pm for seven consecutive weeks. These trainees didn't just complete a program; they transformed themselves into work-ready data analytics professional equipped to meet the evolving demands of today's technology landscape. The commitment shown by these trainees is truly inspiring. They balanced existing responsibilities while dedicating 15+ hours weekly (in person, and many more on their own!) to upskill themselves for the future workforce. Their perseverance has paid off, and they're now ready to make immediate impact in their new roles. As technologies evolve, so does the skills gap. Through this accelerator, we're proud to be equipping local talent with the precise capabilities employers need in the moment! To our amazing graduates: Congratulations! Your journey is just beginning! To our partners and stakeholders: Thank you for helping us create this life-changing opportunity. The #collectiveimpact makes this vital work possible. Big thanks to Joshua Cropp, CFP?, CDFA? for leading the final Tech Mentors Talk this week on #FinancialLiteracy for the trainees of the Chattanooga Tech Accelerator in Data Analytics. Josh gave a whirlwind tour of everything from budgeting to credit scores to personal investing. He led the trainees in a dynamic conversation and we are thankful for his investment in their professional trajectory. We know that in order for #EconomicMobility to be possible someone needs the #SocialCapital and financial skills to manage the fiscal capital that their hard-earned #TechSkills can help them reach. Thankful for a Chattanooga community committed to helping us lead through #collectiveimpact. As part of a Chattanooga 2.0 #ViablePathwaytoProsperity this Tech Accelerator seeks to remove all barriers through a wholistic approach to professional development. The Hamilton County Well Being dashboard, recently launched by Chattanooga 2.0, highlights factors impacting student well-being and, in turn, student outcomes. This data — pulled from research done by the Belmont Data & AI Collaborative and elevated at SCORE’s Mental Health Symposium in 2023 — can help us identify disparities & direct resources to students with the greatest need. https://lnkd.in/ey2D5ys8
