Following up on the exciting news we just released - We’re Hiring! In our last post, we shared that Chateau is opening a brand new location this summer in Summit County, Utah. Today, we’re pulling back the curtain a little more with an open invitation to join us in this next chapter. As we renovate this incredible new space (just 30 minutes from our current campus), we’re designing it intentionally, from the flow of the rooms to the feeling of the environment. It’s not just a bigger building. It reflects our commitment to healing, authenticity, and community. If you’re passionate about behavioral health, value-driven care, and being part of a team that lives its values daily, we’re hiring across several departments.

EMDR vs. Brainspotting: Which Trauma Therapy Is Right for You? ?? At Chateau Health & Wellness, we often get asked about the differences between these two powerful trauma therapies. If you've experienced either (or both), we'd love to hear your insights in the comments! Here’s a quick breakdown of how they work: ?? EMDR (1987, Dr. Francine Shapiro) – A structured, research-backed therapy using guided eye movements to help reprocess distressing memories. ??Brainspotting (2003, Dr. David Grand) – A more intuitive, body-focused approach that uses specific eye positions to unlock and heal trauma stored in the nervous system. Both methods have shown to be very beneficial for treating trauma, but they work in different ways. In our latest article, we explore: ?? Key differences & similarities ?? Who benefits most from each therapy ?? How to choose the right approach for your healing journey ?? With over 10 years of experience in trauma recovery, we’ve seen firsthand how these therapies transform lives. ?? Which one has helped you the most? Or are you considering trying one? At Chateau Health and Wellness, we believe healing should be as diverse as the people experiencing it. Traditional talk therapy is just one piece of the puzzle. Our experiential therapy offering brings a fresh, hands-on approach to emotional well-being. By engaging your body through movement, mindfulness, and creative practices, we open up new pathways for healing that complement conventional methods. Curious about how this works? Take a look at how it works here: https://wix.to/j6lRRBa
