For over 60 years, the Knickerbacker Pool was a popular gathering spot for the Troy, New York community—until it closed nearly a decade ago. This spring, the city of Troy will break ground on a brand-new aquatic facility designed by CHA! Through our comprehensive master plan, we selected the ideal location within the park for the facility, which will feature new equipment, a new bathhouse, and a fully accessible design. We’re proud to have supported the successful funding from the NYS SWIMS grant to help bring this project to life. Thank you to Mayor Carmella Mantello and the city of Troy for entrusting CHA to make this vision a reality. Batter up! The University of Delaware’s new softball stadium is in play for the 2025 spring season, featuring a fully upgraded field and facility. As the lead designer for the renovations, CHA played a key role in enhancing the experience for both athletes and fans. From improvements to the field and dugouts to the addition of a new video board and lighting, we’re proud to have contributed to this exciting upgrade. Over the past three years, the Franklin County State Airport (FSO) has undergone a remarkable transformation. Located in Vermont, just 5 miles from the Canadian border, this state-owned airport now boasts a 4,001-foot-long runway, accommodating larger aircraft and unlocking new growth opportunities for the region. The final phase of redevelopment includes a 2,000-foot northern extension of the taxiway, slated for construction in 2026, further expanding the airport's capabilities. Aviation experts Bob Schaefer, Paul McDonnell, and Simon Davies, ENV SP, LEED AP are at the ACEC Vermont Transportation Technical Workshop, where they’ll showcase this innovative project and discuss how they’re shaping the future of #aviation. #theCHAway #CHAngemakers

Bridge engineers Michael Sullivan and Brendan Knickle will be at the ACEC Vermont Transportation Technical Workshop, sharing insights on a recent Massachusetts bridge replacement project.
