Today, on #GlobalRecyclingDay, we reaffirm our commitment to a circular economy and a more sustainable future. As a GreenCircle Certified and ISCC - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification certified company, Charter Next Generation continues to lead the way in responsible innovation—designing specialty films that enhance #recyclability, reduce waste, and support a low-carbon future. In 2023 alone, CNG diverted 6.1 million pounds of waste from Landfills, achieved Zero Waste to Landfill at seven facilities, and incorporated post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials into our products, showcasing how we are taking action and #EnhancingLives through meaningful #environmental impact. In just two hours, our team packed 31,000 meals, each box providing essential #nourishment for a child throughout the school year. That’s why we’re proud to support initiatives like The Ohio State University At Mansfield's Engineering Technology program. As one of the first programs of its kind, it equips students with real-world skills that align with industry needs and is inspiring new #engineering programs across the country. Mark Cacchio, CNG’s Director of Manufacturing Human Resources, recently joined a panel at Ohio State Mansfield to discuss the increasing demand for engineering technology professionals.
