Together with our sister company PipeSense we recently completed a series of Hydrotests from Ohio County, KY to Will County, IL. Utilizing #PipeTest technology by #PipeSense, was one of the factors that assisted in completing these hydrotests 3-4 days ahead of the outage schedule by providing real time monitoring of our test allowing us to reduce the standard stabilization periods as well as a complete detailed pressure test record with data recorded at 1,000 samples per second from both ends. Incorporating PipeTest in your #Hydrotest processes delivers the ability to pinpoint pre-existing leaks during the fill phase, or newly formed leaks during stabilization and hold periods. Last week at the National Pipe Line Conference, Charps was recognized for receiving the 2023 Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA) Company #SafetyAward, as well as for its representation on the Safety and Quality Committee. The impressive line up of speakers included an astronaut, university professors, a CISA/Department of Homeland Security official, The Laborers North American Director of Safety, as well as several industry executives.?They covered several subjects that directly affect our industry, including High Energy Hazards, Cybersecurity, Union Training Programs, Driving Safety, Damage Prevention, and a case study of how Safety and Quality deviations led up to the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster.?

We've certainly kicked off a busy fall event season! Charps was proud to participate in multiple fundraising, community and networking events over the past 7 days.
