Charlotte Mechanical is a family-owned and operated heating, cooling and plumbing company with over 20 years of experience. We service the Greater Charlotte area, including Mecklenburg, Union, York, Lancaster, Cabarrus and Iredell counties. As a Trane Comfort Specialist and Angie's List Super Service Award winner, Charlotte Mechanical is known for superior service, dependable work and competitive prices. Our goal is to keep our customers comfortable! We also underwrite the annual Charlotte Coat Drive every fall. 2019 will be our 9th year.

Last Friday, Charlotte Mechanical sponsored a team for the 1st annual Build A Shed competition by ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) of the Carolinas. The competition involved local High Schools competing to build a shed against other schools. We sponsored Palisades HS students from the theater tech class by financially supporting and training them on tools and building processes. Our Safety Manager, Roland, trained them on safety as well. We were paired with Messer Construction, and our team of students finished second in the event! An accomplishment that is especially meaningful for a group of students with zero building experience. The growth in the team was astounding and the pride they walked away with was truly remarkable. Needless to say, perhaps there are a few future Charlotte Mechanical employees here in the making... Yesterday was a very busy day, but having some time to reflect I wanted to share how honored I am to have been a mentor/coach in the ABC Carolinas Chapter first annual shed build competition. I was so lucky to be partnered up with such amazing person Chase Grindstaff of Charlotte Mechanical. Together we coached and mentored on some many different topics from Safety, Carpentry, Reading drawing, doing Layout, hands on training and so much more. Throughout the process it was so great to hear some many wonderful comments from their teacher Amanda Vergara on how much excitement they had sharing their experiences with their parents and friends. It definitely reminded me of my journey in vocational school and how that has shaped me as well reassured that this group was determined to learn, apply and win. We came very close to achieving that goal by being awarded runner up (2nd place) at the Shed competition. It was very rewarding and inspiring to see this group put in all the hard work to learn all of these skills and apply it in one day. Saturday, November 16 marks the official date we opened our doors in 2004. Of course, back then, our small team was working out of co-owner Dan Dyszelski's house. Safe to say we grew out of that space quickly. As we look back on 20 years, we are filled with gratitude for our amazing team, loyal partners, and valued clients across the Carolinas.
