We are so grateful to the community for continuing to support The Independent Picture House since opening in June 2022. It's thanks to the amazing patrons, members, donors, and volunteers, that our cinema is able to expand after two years of operations. With the power of a matching gift, your contribution to IPH this month will be doubled. Give to our expansion before July 31: https://lnkd.in/di_XQKDX
Did you know an anonymous donor has made a matching gift challenge to IPH?! Each dollar will be match up to to $50,000! So when you give $10 that becomes $20, $50 becomes $100, and so on. Every dollar counts. Support IPH's growth by giving today: https://lnkd.in/di_XQKDX The space for our new 149-seat auditorium and multi-purpose space has been cleared! We're so grateful to the volunteers and support from Charlotte Art League and FlyWheel Group for helping clear out the space so construction can begin.

Before IPH celebrate two years in June, we're able to begin the process of expanding the cinema! How will you support Charlotte's only nonprofit arthouse cinema? https://lnkd.in/ed9E2P9d
Over the last three months we've had the pleasure of talking one-on-one with some of our supporters to share our incredibly successful first full year of operations in 2023, along with the opportunity for our cinema to expand. We're ecstatic to share that with unanimous support from the Charlotte Film Society/Independent Picture House Board, as well as 60% of funds secured, Charlotte only nonprofit arthouse cinema will be expanding! This growth will add a fourth auditorium, seating 145 patrons, as well as a pre-function area to allow for rentals, special events, educational offerings, and more! You can learn about our expansion on our website: https://lnkd.in/eAGhvdCa
