Our team had a blast kicking off construction of our project for Monroe Capital LLC with the Monroe team and our project partners Redmond, Lumen Workplace, and Henricksen!

I had a great time representing Cresset at #NeoCon2024, a premier event for the commercial design industry held in Chicago earlier this month. The panel discussion, Offices for the New Work Reality, brought together leaders and innovators from the fields of architecture, space design and commercial real estate. Here are three key insights I gained from our discussion: 1.) Employees come to the office to collaborate and connect in person. Designing office spaces to be dynamic and reconfigurable supports this new, flexible era of work. 2.) It is not our responsibility to mold employees into pre-pandemic work norms. Instead, we should design spaces that foster focus, collaboration, connectedness and respite. 3.) Following a survey of over 40 large Midwest firms, Sarah Silva's team found that the most important thing employees want is to feel a part of something and to feel proud of where they work.
