The Charleston County Board of Voter Registration & Elections is responsible for conducting all county, state, and federal elections that are held in Charleston County. The Board also serves as a resource for election support for Municipal Election Commissions. The nine-member Charleston County Board of Voter Registration & Elections is appointed by the Governor upon the recommendation of the Charleston County Legislative Delegation. An Executive Director is appointed by the Board to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Charleston County Board of Voter Registration & Elections Office. The Board meets at the Charleston County Board of Voter Registration & Elections Office, 4340 Corporate Rd North Charleston, SC 29405.
