Breaking Ground at Pierce College! Pankow Builders, in partnership with NAC Architecture, is proud to break ground on the new Academic West Building at Los Angeles Pierce College! As the design-builder, Pankow is bringing this 30,000 SF contemporary Mediterranean-inspired facility to life, enhancing the campus with a striking and functional space for learning and creativity. Designed as a hub for various academic disciplines, Academic West will house general education classrooms along with dedicated spaces for architecture, media arts, multimedia, philosophy, and sociology. Beyond classrooms, the building will feature an art gallery, multiple labs, a media production soundstage, and a fully functional radio station, providing hands-on experiences for students pursuing careers in these fields. We’re excited to embark on this journey with Pierce College, BuildLACCD, and our design-build partners to create a space to inspire and empower future generations. Justin began his career with Pankow as a Field Engineer and, over the past 17 years, has advanced through multiple roles, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in various aspects of project delivery. His ability to steadily and supportively manage teams, foster collaboration with project partners, and drive project success has made a lasting impact. In his new role, Justin will focus on expanding Pankow's Northern California portfolio and establishing opportunities across various market sectors.
