In our line of work, we are often called on to support rehabilitation of our aging infrastructure/pipelines. This brick pipeline, installed in 1890, has made it a remarkable 134 years. CKC Delivers Innovation on Simi Valley's ESCO Project with?Schneider Electric Pioneer Pump We're thrilled to share that CKC has successfully completed an approximately 1-year long sewer bypass, showcasing cutting-edge automation and technology for temporary pump systems at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Facility. Fully Automated Bypass System: CKC implemented a fully automated temporary sewer bypass.?The system operated for 11 months without the need for conventional pump watch/controls. Remote Monitored Diversions: CKC executed diversions of 48" and 36" sewers using telemetry enabled inflatable plugs and level transducers to monitor plug pressures and diversion/flow levels. The complexity of the task was enhanced by the secure location of the bypass equipment, inaccessible to personnel for a significant portion of the project. Remote Monitoring: With a focus on reliability and efficiency, CKC enabled remote monitoring of multiple pump status, wet well levels, diversion levels, and plug pressures. This innovative approach allowed us to ensure optimal performance and reliability without physical access to the key project areas.?Alerts were configured for the project team, providing advanced warnings related to the bypass system/diversions as necessary.
