As we go into this new year, it's ideal to reflect on what we can do to help our community and those around us. Every day should be considered an opportunity to give back to those around, in kind deeds both big and small.

Our year was truly outstanding, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the success of numerous events. We're thankful for everyone who donated their time, money, and support over this year. On June 19, 1865, African American’s were finally freed in Texas, more than 2 1/2 years after the Emancipation Declaration. Juneteenth recognizes when all enslaved African American's were freed. Join us in commemorating an important part of American history and reflect on our collective fight for the need for equitable treatment for all.
