WOW! We’re still processing last night! A HUGE thank you to Kyle Loftis, the entire Ice Cream Cruise Crew, 1320Video.com and everyone who attended Ice Cream Cruise ‘24 and purchased merchandise benefiting Chariots4Hope & HETRA! Because of your incredible support, a total of $151,320 was raised—split between C4H and HETRA, enabling each of us to make an extraordinary impact right here in our community. Kyle’s commitment to Omaha and the Midwest car community is truly inspiring, and your contributions will fuel our mission to change lives through reliable transportation. We can’t wait to share the positive outcomes your generosity will create! Thank you for believing in us! We look forward to continuing this journey with you. Ice Cream Cruise ROCKS!
Yesterday, we had our second-ever Chariot Champions Invitational, and WOW!! What a memorable day for us (and for everyone who joined, we hope!) BIG thank you Whiting-Turner Construction Company for driving the event, ALL the teams who played, sponsors, volunteers, raffle donations/donors, and staff for making it special and fun. The event was a HUGE success, with 192 golfers and over 30 volunteers! Thanks also to everyone for helping us surprise Opal, our newest Chariots4Hope family member, with her vehicle!!! Congratulations to our 2nd annual CCI Champions, Falewitch Construction Services Inc. ! One of their teams accepted their one-of-a-kind trophies and their awarding captured on our very own C4H Chariot, both crafted by our AMAZING volunteer, Chris. See you all next year!!
EVERY SINGLE vehicle shown in this post was a HELPFUL donation to Chariots4Hope in recent months! You may be surprised to know that Chariots4Hope can receive donated vehicles in ANY CONDITION! Every vehicle donated - whether drivable, fixable, or totally broken down - can be used to advance recipients coming through our programs Donating is super easy too! If you have a vehicle to donate, PLEASE consider Chariots4Hope! If you don't have a vehicle but know someone who might, help us out by passing this post along! https://lnkd.in/gD_4fpJw
We want to give a shoutout to anyone who has recently been a Jumpstart Sponsor for someone coming through our program? We have some AMAZING news to announce!! The legendary Ice Cream Cruise has selected Chariots4Hope along with another awesome nonprofit to support with their donation from this years merchandise proceeds; which they are expecting to raise over 140K! Just wow! This is an incredible honor and we couldn't be more grateful for Kyle Loftis and the 1320Video.com team for selecting C4H! We're asking for as many of our one-of-a-kind supporters to show up and be part of the biggest automotive party in the Midwest! We can't wait to lock arms with the ICC and have some fun while raising money in support of 2 amazing local nonprofits. Let's do this C4H fam!
Taking a moment to thank all of our AMAZING PIT Crew members Our PIT Crew is our incredible group of monthly donors. Monthly donation commitments are an extreme help to the stability of our weekly operations. Not everyone has a vehicle to donate, but if you’re still wanting to help our mission, consider making a monthly contribution! Even $20 every month goes a long way and still makes a tremendous impact on the people we serve? We currently have 50 PIT Crew members, and our next milestone is to see 100 total people! Help us reach our goal? https://lnkd.in/gnjBs286 a moment to thank all of our INCREDIBLE PIT Crew members?
Help us welcome our newest family member, Sarah!! She was referred to us by Open Door Mission, where she recently graduated the New Life Recovery program, and has been working for almost a year! She's an incredible mother of two boys, who she just got full custody of this year. Sarah worked incredibly hard to take accountability and responsibility for her actions since being sober and has been a great example to those around her. She’s going on 2 YEARS SOBER, Praise Jesus! This vehicle will provide her the freedom to get to the doctor, grocery store, and most importantly, church We cannot give enough thank yous to ALL hands involved in this blessing!! Thank you to Ryan with Twisted Thunder Fireworks for sponsoring this blessing, Bill and Julie for donating this BEAUTIFUL vehicle, a fantastic group of Upward Bound students from AIM Institute for detailing the car (and handwriting notes to Sarah!), Michelle's Networking Group, Center Sphere Chapter 8-Ninja's and finally Dave at VirtuActive - 3D Drafting & Design for hosting the blessing!
Please help us give a warm welcome to our newest C4H family member, SOPHIA!! Sophia was referred to us by DHHS. After overcoming addiction, her children have been reunified to her home. The vehicle Sophia was surprised with today came with an extra blessing! Recently, students from AIM Institute devoted volunteer hours to not only detailing the car Sophia received today, but also filling a gift bag with letters of encouragement! This blessing was hosted by the incredible team at Anderson Ford of Lincoln North We also need to give a huge shoutout to Mike & Laurie for donating this vehicle!! Join us in lifting her and her kids up in prayer!!
This is Greg - a sweet gentleman battling esophageal cancer and currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy, daily radiation treatments, and relying on a feeding tube for nutrition. Greg normally provides transportation for himself, his ex-wife Stephanie (who has limited vision), and their disabled son, although his vehicle broke down recently and is beyond repair. Lately, he's been getting rides through the American Cancer Society and Lyft, although he has been struggling to get to all of his appointments, the store, etc. This vehicle is a total surprise to him!! We're so excited for you, Greg!! We have to give a huge shout-out to our friends at Anderson Ford of Lincoln North for hosting this blessing! We're so grateful for your partnership We also like to thank our car donor, Don for his amazing generosity. It’s impossible to fuel this mission without our vehicle donors. Join us in celebrating Greg and lifting him up in prayer!
