    A profit-first mindset has been our North Star since day one... When Avia Chen and I were running our eCommerce subscription business, we kept profitability and self-sufficiency at the forefront and took the company from zero to eight figures in less than 30 months without raising capital or having self-funding, all from doubling on cashflow management. Listening to Yoni Elbaz (Loox) on the Startup for Startup podcast, sharing how he scaled his startup to multi-million dollar revenues without funding, really resonated with us. When we launched Chargeflow, we applied this same philosophy to SaaS. Instead of burning millions on product development first, we focused on solving a problem we deeply understood, prioritizing go-to-market efforts and revenue results. This mindset not only keeps us capital efficient but also allows us to make the most of our venture capital backing. We're raising capital to maintain our momentum and drive rapid growth, which is crucial in today’s competitive market. Sharing some principles that drive this approach: - GTM Strategy - We prioritized go-to-market efforts before diving into product development, testing with real customers through a human-in-the-loop approach. - Strategic Partnerships - We targeted key ICPs based on where they were already active, then doubled down on what worked by capitalizing on marketplaces where our customers were most engaged. - Value Communication - We ensure our customers recognize the time and money they save, consistently reinforcing the impact of our solution while maintaining a user-first and agnostic approach to their needs. - Disruptive Pricing - We eliminated "double charging" for chargebacks with a unique usage-based, pay-on-success model. By analyzing existing market solutions, we created something truly unique that better serves our customers and eventually shifted the industry's approach. - Aligned Incentives - With unique business models, creative sales incentives are key, as there’s no standard precedent. Our sales team shares in our success with a compensation structure that rewards wins while managing risk. While finding the perfect formula is challenging, we remain committed to keeping the team motivated and aligned with our goals. This is the foundation. Success, in my opinion, isn’t about burning through millions faster - it’s about staying laser-focused on rapid growth with a profitable mindset and self-sufficiency, while deploying the right amount of capital in the right place at the right time. One of the major issues chargebacks are causing today, is cashflow instability - and we're improving that by responding faster to chargebacks, improving win-loss performance, and preventing PSPs' cash reserves by reducing payment risk.
