Sights and sounds of B.C. We can't begin to explain the beauty of this trip and shoot. We were isolated in challenging waters, without the sight of another boater for days. Humpbacks, orcas, eagles, and black bears were our daily friends out there. Each day we filled up on salmon, ling cod, rock fish, red rock crab, and clams. All the while, we snapped and rolled camera, collecting authentic and special moments for our friends at XTRATUF. Shout out to Zachary Castagnola for his vision and leadership in-house. Scenes from our summer shoot with XTRATUF in British Columbia. Chaparral set sail for 10 days with XTRATUF exploring the magic of coastal B.C. and Vancouver Island. As a collection of old and new friends, the crew was able to design an experience that was both true to the brand and authentic to audiences. While we explored islands and inlets and went about our chores, we grabbed cameras to capture everyday moments, always dawning the right pair of XTRATUFs for the job. The resulting content exemplified aspirational, yet accessible, adventure that matters to the brand. Whether it was dropping the crab pot for our next meal, collecting clams on the low tide, or going for a magic hour hike, we were there to put XTRATUF's into the frame and within the story. Each day was an opportunity to adapt the script, revise the shot list, and work together to present the best possible version of the brand in an iconic setting. Chaparral took the lead on creative direction and production in partnership with a talented group of visual storytellers and adventurers. Looking forward to more of this work in 2025.
