We were honored to host this inaugural event named for Lloyd Garrison Wheeler and Ida Platt, the first Black man and Black woman admitted to the Illinois Bar.

Liz advises financial institutions, fintech companies, and investment firms on compliance, examinations, and enforcement matters. With experience as a federal prosecutor and bank regulatory attorney, she helps clients navigate AML, sanctions, and consumer protection issues. She guides institutions through regulatory interactions, enforcement actions, and M&A preparations. Liz also supports fintechs in compliance program development and advises on marketing, consumer protection, and bank partnerships.
