Last week we hosted our FOCUS Business Bootcamp at the Chaos to Memories studio. Five professional photo organizers from across the US enjoyed three intense days of technical training, business strategy, and goal setting. We also enjoyed lots of laughter and great food. I'm proud of Susan Costello Jacqui O'Shea ?? Beth Verdun Jamie Howe and Colby Bonisoli for doing hard work and taking big steps to make their dreams reality! A great career strategy is to surround yourself with smart people. I enjoyed a visit this week from longtime friend and Adobe co-worker Mark Erickson and spent most of the day brainstorming ways to use AI to preserve family photos with even better quality and care. Mark also brought us a unique and thoughtful gift, a sample of film that was carried to the surface of the moon by astronauts on the Apollo 12 mission. It's mind-boggling that I get to add this to my collection of old film samples!

I love the dramatic before/after examples when we scan and preserve family photos. In this example we scanned a print (left) and negative (right) of the same image and the results are stunning. We believe preserving your memories is an important project that you should only do once. By scanning negatives, we capture 2x the resolution, more image area, and much better color. Thanks to Adobe Canon USA and Valoi.co for giving us the tools to preserve these memories!
