Our mission is to harness the transformative power of Art to Change Our World by ensuring that every student, school, and community in Chicagoland has equal and exceptional access to the healing, affirming, connecting, and aspirational power of art education.? ? Vision? We envision a future where art is not a luxury or an extracurricular afterthought, but a fundamental cornerstone of education and community that nurtures critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and cultural understanding to change the lives of all young students in underserved communities. These students will go on to change our world in beautiful and profound ways as their journey through art unleashes the might of their creativity, agency, empathy, and ingenuity.??? We envision a future where working artists can pursue their passion and share their gifts while making a living wage. Artists in our community deserve respect, dignity, opportunity and space for culturally affirming creativity. Providing artists with a platform to pay it forward and practice their craft as fairly paid teaching artists will change their world and ours.?? Through our innovative artist-led educational programming, we strive to paint a better tomorrow - one young student at a time.??? Changing Worlds is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern! Are you interested in creating marketing aimed at Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram? We are looking for an intern to assist us with copywriting, post-design, scheduling, and monitoring! This position is a part-time, unpaid internship that will primarily be remote with occasional in-person meetings and the need to travel to Changing Worlds programming sites in Chicago. Timeframe and hours worked weekly are flexible to accommodate your internship requires.
