Working with Opportunity Oregon attending their career fairs in prison is a great way for employers to connect with future employees who want a chance to show they are a value in the community. Our Peer Support Re-entry Program is designed to offer a healthy support system for those returning from prison. Part of re-entry is learning prosocial and healthy ways to participate within the community. Changing Patterns is facilitating group activities where community members and returning citizens can enjoy our lovely Central Oregon while creating a sense of belonging and understanding. Changing Patterns, Inc was granted the funding opportunity through OHA (thank you Office of Recovery and Resilience) to host our first Train-the-trainer Re-entry Best Practices workshop for OHA staff, behavioral health and peer support specialists.
