Lee Zeldin’s plan to roll back crucial protections is a direct attack on our future. Sacrificing clean air and water for #bigoil and gas profits puts our health at risk. We deserve better than unsafe drinking water and rising asthma rates. It’s time to hold him accountable. Our lives depend on it! #StandStrongForClimate TAKE ACTION NOW ?????? https://lnkd.in/eQyu2frf

??? The USDA's $1 billion cut to food aid is severely impacting local food programs, leaving many communities struggling with #foodinsecurity. In places like Big Stone Gap, Virginia, people who rely on food boxes from nonprofits are now without crucial support. ?? These cuts come at a time when hunger is rising due to #climate disasters and high grocery prices. As nonprofits and food banks lose funding, they're forced to cut services and lay off staff, making it harder for vulnerable populations to access food. This highlights the urgent need for targeted solutions to combat hunger, rather than reckless cuts that leave vulnerable communities without the support they desperately need. #EJFriday

?? Despite efforts to slow it down, the clean energy industry is on track for record growth in 2025. Solar and battery storage are leading the charge, making up 81% of new power generation in the U.S. this year. ?With electricity demand surging, renewable energy is proving to be essential, not just for sustainability, but for keeping the lights on. ?? Still, there’s uncertainty ahead. Policy shifts could stall progress, threatening jobs, investments, and energy security. But one thing is clear: demand for clean energy isn’t going anywhere. The future is green…if we keep pushing for it.

?? Can you believe that just 36 #fossilfuel companies are responsible for half of the world’s carbon #emissions? In 2023 alone, they released over 20 billion tonnes of CO2! This staggering statistic reveals the urgent reality that pollution is concentrated in the hands of a few powerful entities. ?? If these corporations were ranked as countries, their carbon footprint would place them among the top #polluters globally. Saudi Aramco would be the 4th largest emitter! This evident concentration of emissions challenges us to consider how the actions of a select few not only impact our lives but also jeopardize the health of our planet.
