关于我们
Change the Air Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by a group of passionate air quality professionals and advocates aiming to give every person the knowledge, resources, and support to achieve better health by breathing safe indoor air. The Foundation addresses this hidden epidemic of poor indoor air quality through three main initiatives: education, policy reform, and research. We believe that healthy indoor air is a basic right. This crisis not only impacts our health but also causes significant physical, emotional, and financial hardship. What’s worse, water damage is not always a visible problem and can be hidden behind walls and in places not often frequented, such as attics and crawl spaces. Many individuals may be suffering from chronic symptoms and have no idea that the culprit behind their degrading health rests within these toxic indoor spaces. Whether you're here seeking support for yourself, your family or a loved one, we're here to help guide you through this challenging journey. We promise to work tirelessly to be a dependable resource for healthcare practitioners, public officials, community stakeholders, and individuals who endeavor to learn about the effects that mold, water, and other environmental factors have on their homes and buildings. Change the Air Foundation envisions a world free from the harmful impacts of indoor air pollutants.

Your home shouldn’t make you sick. We’re fighting so it doesn’t. Over the past 3 years, working in 20 states and working to propose more than a dozen bills to protect people from toxic mold exposure and water damage, we learned a few things: 1?? Most legislators were shocked to learn that in most states laws don’t exist to protect consumers. 2?? Not a single legislator was “pro-mold” (thankfully!). Everyone agreed that mold growth in homes and buildings is a real issue. 3?? Lawmakers need a data-driven roadmap on how to fix this problem. Today, thanks to the support of people like you, we are proud to introduce our national Policy Brief: “Promoting Policy Solutions for Household Dampness and Mold.” ?? This report is packed with the latest research, economic insights, and policy recommendations to help fix this crisis.
