In a pivotal moment for #Tampa's Historic #YborCity, Chancey Architecture and Interior Design is unveiling a new block of buildings on 7th Avenue. Walt Chancey, our principal, purchased a vacant lot in 2006, seizing the opportunity to build in an area where we have deep roots, having established our first Tampa office 35 years ago. In 2015, Daryl Shaw acquired surrounding lots, allowing us to design Casa Martí and Casa Gómez, named after key figures in Cuba’s independence movement. This block now serves as a vibrant entrance to the Historic 7th Avenue, symbolizing a renaissance for Ybor City. Space Breakdown: -The Chancey Office Building: 20,000 sq ft of office space -Casa Marti: Mixed-use with 4,000 sq ft retail, a 2,000 sq ft gym, and 127 apartments -Casa Gomez: Mixed-use with 4,200 sq ft for future retail, 13,000 sq ft of office space, and a 4,200 sq ft rooftop deck.
