This Week, I’m Grateful For… ? ?? Two AMAZING partnerships locked in! These won’t just help grow CHANCE Clean Cider’s awareness with consumers and customers—they’ll do incredible things for both the trade and non-alc drinkers. Can’t say more yet … but trust me, it’s BIG. ?? Inclusion in the Westons Cider Report … still wrapping my head around that one. Mind. Blown. ?? Follow-ups from the awesome Northern Restaurant & Bar last week—lots more to come on that soon. ?? Getting out in trade in Chester … and being just two bars away from my dream accounts target list completion. Liquor & Co—I’m not giving up! ?? This Week, I’m Grateful For… ? Hearing about the incredible ScotHot event from my Scottish sales team, Base Spirits Collective. ? Popping into the CASK Liquid Marketing event on Wednesday and catching up with so many of my old Atom Brands mates—felt like an unofficial reunion! ? Bringing on another fantastic RTM with The Alcohol Free Drinks Company Co. ? Supporting the Brakes UK sales team with some regional sales tools. ? Catching up with the team that changed my professional (and personal) life… I’ve spoken before about my time with Chilli Marketing Ltd and the adventures in Australia launching Rekorderlig—those were truly halcyon days. But it wasn’t just the sunshine, the insane success of Reko, or the energy of Sydney back then. It was the people. And as cliché as that might sound, it’s 100% true. They nailed the culture. We were a team that celebrated success, had each other’s backs when things got tough, and just kept launching, pushing, building. Seeing these guys on Wednesday—after seven years—felt like we were back at Hugo’s the day before. And it wasn’t just these four legends. We had an incredible crew in Aus, and to this day, I still speak to all of them. This week, I’m grateful for: - My first grocery conversation! Early days, but it was definitely a "pinch me" moment! - My first pub chain distribution – we do love selling in pallets! Lets Go Kore Drinks - Filling out a new line for a premium retail store (more on that soon, promise!) - Two new investors (can’t wait to share more on them soon!) - A new distribution partner (more on that too, soon!!). - A huge partnership that I literally can’t wait to tell you more about soon! (I'm annoying myself writing 'tell you soon'!) - Joining NIQ Brandbank – feels silly, but it means I’m now a national brand that needs to be on it! - Working with our awesome new digital support, Lili. - A fun trip down to London. - Having the flexibility to take the day off on Wednesday and hang with my Dad and two boys. - Welcoming our new cat home, Mariah is the new queen in our house! - The best group of mates and ex-colleagues who are always happy to help me out... This weeks post feels a little bit like a flex, but you know what? I work really hard and have been so lucky to have amazing people around me helping to bring this to life. So I’m going to be grateful for the wins! Having a grocery conversation, getting off the call, and then being unsure of how to reply to their follow-up email – that’s mad. But having a group of ninja commercial mates I can jump on a call with for support? That's a blessing. You know who you are, and you’ll never have to pay for CHANCE Clean Cider! This is a hard road. I’ve seen it, I’ve supported other founders through it, and now I’m on it. But man, you have to enjoy the good times because this is a wild rollercoaster. We've been trialing it in convenience, and seeing it IRL is incredibly exciting. - The amazing support from the LinkedIn community when I asked for a listing hookup! It's not quite Nike "collab" level yet, but seeing No&Low on merch is pretty cool (if I do say so myself!). - Fantastic meetings in London — especially catching up with my old partner in crime, Jennie Rae Chuter! - Catching up with the awesome insight team at SAMY Alliance - more on that soon I hope - A very overdue catch-up with the inspiring Tim Smith - good energy personified - Exciting updates from the Kore Drinks, Base Spirits Collective, and Weetwood Ales Limited teams — our sales pipeline is filling up fast! - And the BIG one… CHANCE Clean Cider is now available to order through Brakes UK starting Monday! ?? To be honest, I’m ahead of where I thought I'd be — I was aiming for a few pubs, some online sales, and maybe a small wholesaler. But now we’re in 4 channels, 2 countries, with multiple stockists, working with Amazon, Wise Bartender, Crafty Nectar Online, and even having some exciting talks with grocers! Being available through Brakes UK, with national distribution and being invited to sample at their events — it's a huge milestone! In a growing category, being easily accessible to customers is key, if you're not, sales just get harder to convert. I’m so grateful for their support, advice, hand-holding, forgiveness (when pallet delivery slots are missed!!) and patience! More exciting updates next week! ?? Thansk again for lunch Will Evans - Exciting next steps with the team at Jim & Tonic Distillery Co.. - Working with the team at Wise Bartender - Meeting Joe J. from Alcohol Change UK — some exciting things ahead, I’m sure! - Attending the Claritee event last night… As I’ve mentioned before (and even posted on LinkedIn), I’m not a sober founder, despite running a non-alcoholic brand. So, attending a sober event was a bit of new territory for me, but wow, it was so inspiring. Not just because of the incredible stories and journeys shared, or the kind words about CHANCE Clean Cider, but because it gave me a glimpse of a super exciting future. One where your drinking preference—whether you choose to drink or not—doesn’t matter. The focus was just on having a great time with others who were lucky enough to make the trip to Liverpool.
