Our 7th and 8th-grade student club ambassadors at Pali Leadership Retreat! The Pali Leadership Retreat provided our student ambassadors with invaluable leadership training and team-building experiences. Our 7th and 8th grader student club ambassadors went to the Pali Leadership Retreat, an experience set to amplify their leadership abilities and foster teamwork. Through a series of engaging activities, with a focus on outdoor activities, they delved into the essentials of effective leadership and collaboration. The retreat not only equipped them with vital skills but also created memories and bonds that will aid their development as young leaders. Their return marked a beginning of applying these newfound insights into their school community, promising positive impacts.

California Armenian Legislative Caucus Members visit Chamlian! CA Armenian Legislative Caucus members explored Chamlian on a tour guided by student ambassadors focused on showcasing the school's core values and student life. Chamlian proudly welcomed the California Armenian Legislative Caucus, offering them an insightful campus tour conducted by our student body ambassadors. This visit allowed the legislative members to delve into Chamlian's foundational values and provided a detailed look into our students' everyday experiences. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the CA Armenian Legislative Caucus for this memorable visit, affirming their interest and support in our educational mission.

6th Graders' Trip to Fresno and Sacramento! Our 6th grade students, along with their parents, ventured on an exciting trip to Fresno and Sacramento, immersing themselves in Armenian and American culture and history. This week's journey for our 6th graders was nothing short of inspiring. In Fresno, they dove into Armenian heritage, visiting sites like the David of Sassoun, Armenian Genocide Monument and visiting the Chamlian family home. Sacramento brought the State Capitol, California Museum and Railroad Museum to life, blending fun with learning. These experiences enriched their understanding and appreciation of their roots, making for an unforgettable educational adventure.

Exciting Algebra Class Kicks Off for 7th Graders! Our Algebra I course, usually taken in 8th grade, is now being offered to advanced 7th graders. Classes began this Monday! This week marks the start of our advanced algebra class for 7th grade students, a special program, taking place before school hours, designed to prepare students for Geometry in 8th grade and set them on a path toward an accelerated math track in high school. We are thrilled and proud of these students for their commitment to taking this extra step in their academic journey.

First Spirit Day of the Year a Roaring Success! Our students enjoyed a memorable day with our Chamlian Tiger making surprise classroom visits, roaming the campus, and leading our tiniest Tigers on an exciting scavenger hunt! The enthusiasm and joy were evident throughout, marking a perfect start to the school year.?

Celebrating 50 Years: A Joyful Start to the 2024-25 Academic Year This Wednesday, we joyfully celebrated our 50th anniversary opening ceremony and first day of school, marking an inspiring beginning to the 2024-25 academic year. The ceremony was a testament to our community's spirit, featuring our cherished tradition where 8th graders and first graders, along with alumni parents and their children, walk together, symbolizing the enduring legacy and unity of the Chamlian community. Dr. K and Oriort Zorineh's speeches inspired all, and Very Reverend Father Zareh’s closing prayer set a hopeful tone for the year ahead.
