“You’re magicians.” It’s always nice hearing that feedback from one of our partners. The #CFO of a commercial roofing partner needed a specialist in a contingent capacity and was worried about the ability to find the right person. Although this leader had seen our work before in executive search, Chamberlain was eager to show our abilities in #staffing. Relishing niche searches and doing the hard hunting, we were quickly able to identify people who fit the mold and were in salary range through our proprietary Market Temperature Assessment. We quickly narrowed in on the excellent candidates who showed the best culture fit and worked with our partner to extend an offer. We did this in 23 days from search kick-off to start date. Our ability to work on #talentacquisition needs up and down human capital stack saved time and money for our client who didn’t need to bring in a new firm for staffing. That’s magic.

When it comes to finding PE-backed C-suite talent, we know we need to turn over every stone to find the best. Take our last three CFO searches, each placement came from a different source: (1) PE-backed Security Services Platform – Researched our PE database for business services companies that went through secondary buyouts in the past five years, cross-referenced CFOs leading those businesses, and reached out to this candidate directly. (2) PE-backed Construction Platform – The successful candidate came from an applicant who raised their hand. (3) PE-backed Building Products Manufacturer – Ran a traditional LinkedIn search using relevant keywords to surface the candidate that was selected. I’ve learned that finding the next leader for a PE-backed company isn’t about relying on just one channel, it’s about pushing every channel: networks, databases, LinkedIn, applicants.... Last week, Court and Brad from the Chamberlain team welcomed the opportunity to support America's Warrior Partnership at an event in New Jersey. The highlight of the evening was hearing from Medal of Honor recipient Clint Romesha, who spoke about #duty, #bravery, and #heroism. Clint continues to inspire and motivate, and we’re eager to dive into his book, “Red Platoon: A True Story of American Valor,” a firsthand account of the 14-hour firefight at the Battle of Keating in Afghanistan. AWP’s goal is to improve the quality of life for #veterans and to end Veteran suicide by empowering local communities to serve them proactively and holistically before a crisis occurs. AWP does this through their 4-step model: Connect, Educate, Advocate, and Collaborate with Veterans, their families, and caregivers, and the communities that support them. #Milvet private equity opportunity! Chamberlain is working with a longtime middle market PE partner looking for a milvet financial analyst intern for immediate start. This is a completely remote opportunity with no time zone restrictions. ? The engagement is an unpaid internship -- this would be great for a #servicemember who has Skillbridge dates starting in Oct/Nov/Dec or a milvet who has already transitioned from active duty and is looking to get experience and resume bullets in PE. The CFO of the portco is an Air Force veteran, and the Controller has managed and mentored Skillbridge interns before.
