Are there any good reasons to join a local gym or fitness center and opt for some at-home workout routines instead? Personalities are different for all of us. In terms of Yin and Yang, some of us have the Yang type where we have aggressiveness about our being, a masculine flow. Some of us have a softer, more nurturing Yin personality. However, we forget and do not recognize the seeming duality of who we are because we are the same: a little Yin and a little Yang. The predominance of one or the other can be viewed in its proper context individually. As was mentioned, Yin is a dark nurturer that is smooth and stretches with breathing intuitiveness. I do not care if you have a masculine appearance or a feminine persona; there is the flow of both personas in both entities in terms of personality. It takes less equipment for training for a Yin personality than it does for a Yang. Training at home is a preference (Not) a reason to train. Your reason for training is an intuitive construct. You do not need a training partner; it is all about you. Many years ago, in my early thirties, I began training at home after purchasing essential equipment for training. In my perspective, it takes less equipment for a Yin-style personality. But that’s my opinion. Follow the intuitive persona of your instinct, which only you can decide. Meditate; learn what is best for your style of intuitive training. Use Solfeggio tones. Do the research. Pray!

Stage 4 Lung Cancer Scares a Healthy Athlete as Kaiser Permanente's Medical Team Comes to the Rescue Kaiser Permanente recently highlighted the story of Adrian Cheong, a 33-year-old athlete and father, who was unexpectedly, diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancers. This diagnosis came as a shock to Cheong and his family, as he was young, active, and seemingly healthy. Despite the advanced stage of his cancer, Cheong's story underscores the importance of awareness, early detection, and the pursuit of comprehensive care in battling such a serious illness. This story serves as a poignant reminder that cancer can affect anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Cheong's journey illustrates the resilience and determination required to confront such a life-altering diagnosis. It also emphasizes the critical role of medical support and the advancements in cancer treatment available through organizations like Kaiser Permanente. Adrian has been a multisport athlete all his life. As a teacher from Fairfax, California, he often joins his students for pickup soccer games after school. He started to feel body aches in August 2018, and as the school year progressed, he had more difficulty getting around. By January, he was no longer able to play any sports with his students. Initially, Adrian attributed the pain to lingering sports injuries, thinking, "Maybe I’m just over the hill." However, the pain worsened over time, and he developed a persistent cough that lasted for months. The symptoms didn’t improve with antibiotic treatments prescribed by Maria Chan, MD, who also ordered CT scans for further investigation. The images revealed lesions, or abnormal growths, on the lungs that Dr. Chan suspected were cancerous. The scans showed that he had four out-of-control growths of abnormal cells in his lungs. Lung cancer can develop in people who have never smoked, often due to gene changes that occur as we age. Cheong’s tests indicated that his cancer was responsive to a targeted chemotherapy pill, which was crucial to his treatment. Radiation therapy was also ordered, which destroyed the tumor cells and halted their growth. "I’m on bonus time now. The cancer is stable. I’ve found that being honest with my students allows us to recognize that we’re all going through difficult things," Cheong said. "Without the researchers, nurses, doctors, technicians, family, friends, and community around me, and of course the entire team from Kaiser Permanente, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
