ChaiFlicks is proud to launch Picture This, a new documentary series dedicated to telling the stories of October 7. Hosted by veteran Israeli journalist Ben Shani, the series features 8 intimate one-on-one interviews with those who endured the events of that day — including survivors from the Nova party, a hostage who has been freed from Hamas captivity, a first response unit commander, and more. Each interview is accompanied by vivid illustrations from some of Israel’s top artists (Waltz with Bashir, Where Is Anne Frank, Legend of Destruction). One year after the attacks, we are still praying for those affected by the war and the hostages who are still in captivity.?#BringThemHome The series will be streaming exclusively on ChaiFlicks in North America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom with new episodes coming every Sunday this Fall. Produced by Beyond Creative Distributed internationally by The Ripple Effect - HOME OF INTERNATIONAL CONTENT With special thanks to the The Ripple Effect team for working tirelessly to bring this series to audiences across the world. Listen to or read the full piece on NPR's site below, and then continue to watch Kafka, streaming exclusively on ChaiFlicks:

NPR's Morning Edition shows Kafka some love! Featuring interviews with creator David Schalko and lead actor Joel Basman, the deep ranging segment dug into why the Kafka we see on the screen is so different from the pop culture perception of the writer: "He's a funny man. He's got humor. And of course, he's got his issues, and we all got them in our lives, but he was far away from depressed," said Basman. Visit NPR for the full write up below — and don't miss Kafka as episode 2 drops this Thursday, exclusively on ChaiFlicks in the U.S.
