We're excited to celebrate with Round Lake Christian Camp as it approaches its 75th anniversary, marking decades of life-changing work and generational impact. In the past, CFR has partnered with the Ohio camp, assisting with project financing and refinancing previous loans, which has allowed more funds to be funneled directly into their ministry efforts. Kent Fillinger, CFR's Regional Vice President, attended the camp in his youth. He now finds it so rewarding to support the camp through his role at CFR. We're excited to announce the successful closing of a $1.4 million loan with a new ministry partner, United Church - Maryland! This funding will enable the purchase of their first permanent worship facility—a milestone we've been working towards for over a year. During this time, United Church raised the funds for the down payment and thoroughly searched for the perfect location. In a beautiful turn of events, they were led back to the property they currently rent, which became available in God's timing. We're grateful to have partnered with Southeast Christian Church in Kentucky on this journey. The blessings continued as a local attorney donated her services, the surveyor generously reduced his fees by over 50%, and the property’s existing owner lowered the price by $200,000. Earlier this month, Rod and Val from Tokata Youth Center (TYC) visited our staff to express their gratitude for our partnership. A few years ago, Christian Financial Resources helped finance their 7,400 sq ft facility, which reached capacity within two days of opening by serving over 460 youth. TYC is meeting the critical needs of the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation youth by providing a safe and stable environment modeling biblical principles and Dakota values. Youth receive educational tutoring and life skills training from mentors who prioritize physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.
