The toughest job site to manage always seems to be the one between our ears. Like everything else, we train the brain or the brain trains us. Considering the times we live in, this shouldn't be as big of an issue as it is. We must focus on regaining our focus. We must have the tools and skill sets to reset when we are unable to gain control of our thoughts. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a big believer in "Thoughts becoming things" and if we're unable to regain control of our focus (oxygenation to the prefrontal cortex) we will undoubtedly have thoughts that steer us in the wrong direction. Thoughts that make us miss out on the surrounding good. Thoughts that ultimately give us more of what we don't want. It's the freedom to let go of things we cannot control while simultaneously focusing on what we can control that we need to take back. If you're struggling to take control of your focus, or you're having trouble containing negative thoughts and emotions, know that you're not alone and that there are folks that do not even know you that want to see you succeed. There are folk that want to cheer for you. It's time we stop avoiding these talks and start taking them seriously. The minds tricks are no match for a human being in motion that knows where it's going. #mentalhealthawareness #suicideprevention
