Our society is hosting TWO luncheons this month. We are so excited to have the opportunity to see you all twice this month. The first is next week on Thursday Oct 17th at the Le Méridien Salt Lake City Downtown (Note this is a different location than we normally have our luncheons. We will be hearing from Roxton McNeal CFA, FRM, CAIA, CIPM of Simplify Asset Management. Roxton will describe the evolving Quantitative Investment Strategies landscape and his approach to building a robust QIS Strategy. Next on Wednesday, October 23rd at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek we will be hearing from Denise K. Shull an internationally recognized leader in market, investing and trading psychology. Denise will share her insights about the Psychology of Financial Decisions. We have some really great events coming up this month. The first being the Leslie Odom Jr. and Utah Symphony concert at Deer Valley this Saturday. Registration has closed, but if you signed up check your email for info on tickets and parking. On Aug 15th we have our monthly luncheon. This month we have Jon Brager of Palmer Square coming to give us an update on the CLO markets. Finally, on Aug 24th we have our Members and Family Bee’s game outing. Each member can register for up to eight tickets. It’s a great event to bring family and friends to. Registration for that closes on Aug 20th at noon so go register now.
