Last year, CESI's AV Team partnered with Alex Yeakel, Emergency Nurse Educator at Hartford Hospital, to create educational videos aimed at helping emergency nurses properly manage arterial lines. ???? Alex used these videos in a quality improvement project, demonstrating how quick, effective training resources can enhance clinical skills and elevate patient safety. Having the distinct honor of training the U.S. Navy never gets old! This group of Undersea Medical Officer Candidates took a deep dive into high-fidelity simulation training, stepping into the command chair as healthcare providers. They faced realistic trauma emergencies, respiratory and critical illnesses, and cardiac challenges—all in a controlled, immersive environment.
