Vision Impairment ?? People with cerebral palsy can have two different sources of vision impairments: 1. How the eyes work. (i.e., needing glasses or correcting strabismus) 2. Disturbances in the brain's visual pathways. The brain-based visual issues relate to how the brain makes sense of the incoming visual information.?????????????????????????????????????? Quality Improvement (QI) -- First We Learn & Then We Share Quality improvement (QI) is a kind of data science that allows us to understand how healthcare processes are working throughout the network and where they can be improved to support the best health outcomes for people with CP. How does QI work?... QI data is shared among our network participants to adjust and improve how they deliver healthcare to people with CP, and the process keeps repeating. AACPDM Presents Helpful Resources About Cerebral Palsy The American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) is the professional society for cerebral palsy. This group, formed in 1947, was established to bring together professionals for the purpose of educating them about cerebral palsy.
