Vision Impairment ?? People with cerebral palsy can have two different sources of vision impairments: 1. How the eyes work. (i.e., needing glasses or correcting strabismus) 2. Disturbances in the brain's visual pathways. The brain-based visual issues relate to how the brain makes sense of the incoming visual information.?????????????????????????????????????? Find out more about the different eye care professionals who treat vision disorders on our website: https://lnkd.in/etCZRWuT ID: A green graphic with copy regarding vision impairment. Engaging the cerebral palsy community in research that matters
关于我们
The CP Research Network is the largest and most comprehensive collaboration of hospitals and community members working together to improve health outcomes for people with CP. We host the largest community and clinical registries in the US to gather robust and comprehensive data for research. We focus our research and consumer educational content on the health and wellness outcomes that people with cerebral palsy value most. We include the entire community in the research process, the development of education materials and the implementation of current clinical care pathways.

Quality Improvement (QI) -- First We Learn & Then We Share Quality improvement (QI) is a kind of data science that allows us to understand how healthcare processes are working throughout the network and where they can be improved to support the best health outcomes for people with CP. How does QI work?... QI data is shared among our network participants to adjust and improve how they deliver healthcare to people with CP, and the process keeps repeating. AACPDM Presents Helpful Resources About Cerebral Palsy The American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) is the professional society for cerebral palsy. This group, formed in 1947, was established to bring together professionals for the purpose of educating them about cerebral palsy. AACPDM offers professional and community resources through their website. Here are two examples: 1. Care pathway summaries for healthcare providers: https://lnkd.in/ezmrMKAa 2. Provider directory by location and specialty: https://lnkd.in/eJxkdEzS *Directory is a self-selected list of member providers and not a list that is endorsed by AACPDM or the CP Research Network ID: A pink background with the words Tip Tuesday and the words AACPDM Presents Helpful Resources About Cerebral Palsy on it, as well as a CPRN logo.
