Voro Therapeutics seeks to unlock the killing power of macrophages with tumor activated biologics for durable responses in solid tumors. We target macrophages due to their immense untapped potential. Abundant in solid tumors, they can directly kill tumor cells and recruit other immune cells, providing long-term therapeutic benefits. We have developed a platform of tumor-activated multispecific antibodies that harness this potential by integrating multiple clinically validated mechanisms into a single molecule. These drugs remain inactive in healthy tissues but activate selectively within tumors, enabling systemic administration with localized action. Our masking technology is broadly applicable to solid tumors, with initial clinical proof-of-concept efforts in colon and gastric cancers, addressing high unmet needs. Recent clinical successes with masking technologies for T-cell engagers (e.g., Janux and Vir) highlight their transformative potential. Voro is well-positioned to achieve a similar breakthrough in the macrophage field. Voro is led by seasoned drug developers with extensive expertise in oncology and tumor-activated biologics, supported by world-renowned advisors with deep knowledge of the underlying technology. We are raising a $7M seed round to achieve key milestones, including nominating two development candidates, demonstrating PrimeBody's safety and dose-exposure benefits in NHPs, and initiating IND-enabling activities—strategically positioning Voro for a future Series A. This journey has been incredible, evolving from touch-based sensors to wearable sweat sensors and now to an integrated wearable microgrid system.
