The #AmericanCancerSociety (ACS) is excited to announce the return of #ComeOutAgainstCancer, presented by #Genentech and #TexasOncology, which is an event aimed at addressing the importance of cancer screening in the North Texas LGBTQ+ community. Reducing cancer disparities and advancing health equity is an overarching goal of ACS.? LGBTQ+ people are disproportionately burdened with risk factors and screening disparities, experiencing obstacles to prevention, detection, treatment, and survival because of systemic factors that are complex and go beyond the connection to cancer.
