SUPER QUAD B-DOUBLES: Centurion invested in 10 new Super B-Doubles. These Performance-Based Standards (PBS) combinations measure in at 30m in length and 4.6m in height, and the B-doubles are also Dangerous Goods (DG) compliant. Each combination features mezzanine decks throughout & lightweight composite gates, made up of two double drop deck trailers, offering significantly higher carrying capacities. Centurion has achieved productivity gains of about 35 per cent. The BPW Transpec’s self-tracking steerable axles feature two steerable axles on the lead trailers and one steerable axle the end trailers in their rear axle groups. All combinations have Daimler trucks in front of them which are highly efficient with low fuel burn and exceptional safety systems.
