Centurion Boats took great pride in being the title sponsor of the 2024 Raz’n Health Fitness Festival in Atwater, CA, hosted by MidState CrossFit. The event kicked off Friday with a 'Salute to Service' (S2S) day, organized in partnership with the non-profit organization, Knot on Call. This event was dedicated to celebrating local heroes with a day of relaxation and the experience of surfing the waves behind a Centurion Boat on Lake Yosemite in Merced, CA. Centurion Boats is deeply committed to honoring the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our freedom. The day at Lake Yosemite began on a high note with an inspiring flyover by MedFlight EMS organized by Danny Goranson who also helped coach the heroes behind the boat. Seventeen local heroes from the Merced area participated in this special day on the water. Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, all 17 heroes in attendance, including two Centurion Boats employees, had the opportunity to learn how to surf behind one of four Centurion boats out on the water that day. “Building water sports boats to honor American law enforcement, firefighters, frontline workers and military is our extreme privilege. Centurion’s Salute to Service is our way to shine a light on police, fire, medical and military service members who make the towed water sports lifestyle possible.” explained Amy Mauzy, VP of Marketing and Brand Direction at Centurion Boats. This S2S event was especially meaningful to the Centurion family. Kenneth McCarthy and Michael Harris, employees in the Logistics Department at the Centurion Boats factory in Merced, CA, are both veterans of the United States Air Force and participated in the local S2S event. Before joining Centurion, Kenneth McCarthy spent 20 years serving in the Air Force. His military journey began and ended at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, CA, with stops at Travis Air Force Base near San Francisco, Grand Forks in North Dakota, and K.I. Sawyer in Michigan along the way. Reflecting on his experience at the Merced S2S event, Kenneth said, “It was great being out on the water with everyone. I had a blast seeing all the participants enjoy themselves!” Michael Harris served 6 years in the United States Air Force and was primarily stationed in Italy. At the local S2S event, it was the first time Harris surfed behind a Centurion. “The camaraderie was the best part of the day. I’ve wake boarded before but it was my first time wake surfing and it was so much fun surfing behind a boat capable of a great surf wave,” Michael stated. The pair noted, “It’s nice that as a company, Centurion and Supreme and Correct Craft are committed to serving first responders and military.” The goal in sponsoring S2S events is to give back to those who make our water sports lifestyle possible through their dedication and sacrifice. It is an honor at Centurion to give back and inspire gratitude toward those who make sacrifices for our freedom.

17 riders were crowned World Champions at the 2024 World Wake Surfing Championship. Over 120 of the best riders from around the world came together at Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth, Texas and put it all on the line for what turned out to be one of the highest levels of competition ever seen at a WWSC event. We saw epic tricks, a ton of personal bests and some new styles of riding introduced on the sport’s largest stage throughout the week. The 2025 World Wake Surfing Championship was towed by the 2025 Centurion Ri230, the world’s best waves, wakes and ride for as many as 14 people, built with comfort and convenience in mind. The Centurion Ri230 is part of the flagship Ri Series and is the perfect boat for seasoned wake sports enthusiasts and those who are new to boating. The wake boat capable of 5400 pounds of ballast, is jam packed with advanced features providing customers with the best experience on the water. In the Amateur Female Surf division, Kahla Archibald took home the world title and was joined on the podium by Team Centurion athletes, Bostyn Hall and Kenzie Hickey who placed 2nd and 3rd. Congratulations, ladies! The Professional Female Surf division brought the heat during their final run on Saturday, October 12. Kristina Kolesnikova was victorious and took her place at the top of the podium after a remarkable final run. She was joined on the podium by Kim Sunhwa who placed second and Tomoko Onishi who took home third place. Team Centurion athletes had an incredible week with four athletes taking home world titles in their respective divisions. Cade Lybeck, Team Centurion athlete, dominated the competition all week long and earned the title of World Champion in the Semi-Pro Male Skim division. In the Semi-Pro Female Surf division, Brynlee Hall, one of the newest athletes on Team Centurion, placed first! Centurion team rider, Chad Hudson took home the world title in the Masters Male Skim division after an impressive week of riding. Finally, Whitley Stewart placed first in the Professional Female Skim division. Congratulations to Team Centurion’s World Champions! The Adaptive Division was a fan-favorite of the week. Eric Woody was victorious, earning first place and the World Champion title. Following him was Brian Stokes in second place, Scott Corsmeir in third place and Logan Walker in fourth. The 2024 World Wake Surfing Championship proved to be one of the most competitive WWSC. Congratulations to all of our competitors who gave it their all at this world championship event. Over 120 of the best riders from around the world have spent three days competing for the title of Centurion World Wake Surfing Champion at Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth, Texas. Day three of the competition, presented by GM Marine, consisted of LCQ (last chance qualifier), semi-final and final rounds where riders threw many personal bests and stylized tricks behind the newly released?2025 Centurion Ri230. The fan favorite of the day was without a doubt the Professional Male Skim division. Eyes were glued to the water as riders gave it their all in the semi-final round. Team Centurion riders, Luke Hutcherson and Tyler Stewart took first place in their heats and Evan Hudson followed in second place. Later in the day, Centurion athlete, Keenan Flegal, took first place in the LCQ round of the Professional Male Skim division and punched his ticket to finals. All four Centurion athletes advanced to the final round scheduled to take place, October 12th around 1:30pm CST. Team Centurion’s Cade Lybeck is on fire this week and that continued into the final round of competition for the Semi-Pro Male Skim division. Yet again, Cade dominated his division and took home the World Championship title in the Semi-Pro Male Skim division. Congratulations, Cade! In the Masters Male Skim division, Team Centurion riders, Chad Hudson and Sean Cummings took home first and second place after throwing some impressive tricks. Congratulations, Chad and Sean! Day one of the Centurion World Wake Surfing Championship presented by GM Marine is in the books! The kickoff of the 2024 WWSC made some gnarly waves on Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth, Texas. Hosting Centurion Dealer, Action Water Sports, has the shores lined with 19 Centurion and Supreme boats ready for on-water demos starting October 10th. The WWSC site looks amazing! Day one WWSC competitors from 5 countries posted impressive scores after an incredible first day of riding behind the newly released 2025 Centurion Ri230, specially designed to honor and recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At 8am CST, riders in the Masters Male Surf Division were on the water surfing into Day 1 of competition. This division brought heavy competition with Keith Pohl, Evan Feierabend and Centurion Water Sports Warrior Trevor Miller absolutely shredding and all earning the well-deserved top spots in their heats. The Professional Male Surf Division brought the heat yesterday in what seemed to be the most competitive and thrilling division of the day on Marine Creek Lake. Centurion Athletes Tyler Stewart and Keenan Flegel dominated their heats placing first and advancing to the Semi Final round. Another leader of their Pro Male Surf Division heat, Samuel Goncalves, clinched his spot in the semi-final round with a score of 116.5. Also advancing to the semi-final round from this division is Centurion Athlete Turner Gebers, Centurion Ambassador Tommy Darnell, and Tripp Allen. It’s clear that Darnell and Allen, both Centurion owners, are crowd favorites after day 1. The Pro Female Skim division was electric as Centurion Athletes Whitley Stewart, Ava Stewart, Caitlin Wheeler and Nicole Hudson threw impressive tricks keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. These four ladies, joined by riders Ashley Inloe and Evie Shropshire, will move forward on Day 2 of the WWSC hoping to clinch a semi-final spot. A fan favorite division, Amateur Female Surf, had a competitive afternoon of riding. New Centurion Athlete, Bostyn Hall punched her ticket to the semi-final round placing second in her heat. Her teammate, Kenzie Hickey, had a show stopping run dominating the division bringing in the highest overall score. Joining these two in the semi-final round are Kahla Archibald, who placed first in her heat and Rena Abiko who placed second. Worlds is just getting started!
