Revex Technologies Secures $145 Million Grant to Transform Battery Waste into Valuable Minerals! ?? Centrepolis Accelerator client, Revex Technologies recently received a $145 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Battery Materials Processing and Battery Manufacturing and Recycling Program! This funding is part of a groundbreaking $16 billion initiative aimed at transforming battery manufacturing, processing, and recycling in the U.S. Revex's innovative project, REV Nickel, represents a strategic partnership between a next-generation critical mineral processing company and the only operating nickel mine in the U.S. Together, they will turn waste streams—mine tailings and spent batteries—into valuable critical minerals. ? Exciting News! ?? The Michigan Economic Development Corporation Office of Future Mobility and Electrification, in partnership with Centrepolis Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University, is thrilled to announce the recipients of the Michigan Mobility Prototyping Grant Program! Launched earlier this year, this initiative provides $813,000 in funding and technical assistance to drive mobility and electrification innovation in Michigan. With support from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Centrepolis Accelerator, 17 groundbreaking projects will be funded to accelerate product development, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing readiness. This program not only strengthens Michigan's leadership in mobility and electrification but also fuels the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies.
