Hard work paid off for our local Watson Chapel students! Our CEO Chris Hart (who happens to be a Watson Chapel alum) made a donation on behalf of CMI to help send the student advisory council to a Memphis Grizzlies game as they wrap up their program’s mission. This group of students, recognized as rising community leaders by Superintendent, Dr. Keith McGee, meets regularly to discuss the transformation of the school system to ensure a high level of education for all. They rose to the challenge as role models within the student body, and we are so proud to join in rewarding their efforts. These students will have the opportunity to meet with NBA executives to talk about leadership and also get to enjoy a great game!

CMI’s very own Vickey Davis was recognized this month by the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce as their 2025 Woman in Manufacturing! Vickey was nominated and awarded for her leadership, innovative solutions, and proven track record of success that inspires others. “At CMI, we truly act with our employees’ best interest at heart,” she says. “We not only care about what happens to them when they are in our facilities, but we care about what happens to them when they are not at work. I help many of our employees get through difficult situations related to outside-of-work accidents or illnesses by administering our leave programs. I view every person’s situation as unique and work with the company to find solutions that will ensure our employees have as many resources as possible available to help them to get back on their feet both personally and professionally.” Vickey is exemplary in her role as our Director of Benefits and beyond. Please join us in congratulating Vickey on this well-deserved recognition. We are so proud she is part of the #CMIFamily!

March 3rd is #WorldWildlifeDay, so we're putting the spotlight on a major cause of power outages all over the globe. Small animals and birds frequently encounter transformers and other equipment, resulting in electrocution and power loss. In some cases, this includes protected and critically endangered species. These common outages are the reason we manufacture our wildlife guards, both saving wildlife and preventing power disruptions. ?? #WeBuildPower
