???Donate this holiday season to support our Bus Bucks Program! ?? “This wasn’t just any field trip; for many of my students; it was their first time seeing the beach and feeling the ocean and sand on their feet.”- Santa Maria Bonita Teacher ?? Last school year, this program provided free or reduced transportation to over 1,000 low-income K-12 students. To date, it has enabled 4,000 students to engage with our state parks. The Central Coast State Parks Association’s 5th Annual Butterfly Ball was a great success! We want to thank all attendees, sponsors, awardees and special guests, including Senator John Laird, and Assemblymember Dawn Addis for helping us draw attention to the importance of our counties wild spaces!
Had the chance to attend the 5th annual Butterfly Ball Gala to help raise money for Pismo Monarch Grove. Living on the coast, I know how important preserving wildlife spaces is for our community and the environment. “There’s tremendous love across San Luis Obispo County for the outdoors, for conservation, for preservation, for biodiversity.
