Community Collaborator ? Workforce Professional ? Championing workforce equity through diverse and inclusive solutions!

I had the privilege of participating in the Columbus Chamber of Commerce Experience Series this morning. Our discussion, "Navigating the ALICE Threshold," provided an opportunity to highlight our talent in Central Ohio that lacks the time & resources to become economically mobile. ALICE is defined as Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed households who struggle to pay essential expenses each month. Almost 40% of all households in Ohio are at or below the ALICE threshold. Thank you, Toni Cunningham, BA, M.S. & Melanie Hill, for bringing data, context, and experiences that made the conversation robust and engaging. Thank you, Kelly Fuller, for moderating the panel in a way that allowed us to not only discuss the opportunities but also offer up potential resources to improve the economic mobility of our residents. Unfamiliar with the United for ALICE campaign supported by United Way of Central Ohio? Visit https://lnkd.in/eYNzsENi to learn more about Ohio's ALICE Households.
