You never know when emergency training will come in handy. Just weeks after completing Red Cross training last year, CIPCO employees William Sondermann and Scott Schlegel put their skills to the test—saving a coworker from choking. Their quick response helped Luke Carson clear his airway and get the medical care he needed. During #RedCrossMonth, we recognize the importance of preparedness. The event featured insights from legislative leaders, including Governor Kim Reynolds, and discussions on key updates for the 2025 legislative session.
Keeping power reliable starts with strong vegetation management! Our contractor uses a powerful four-wheel-drive boom with a saw on the end to trim trees near CIPCO’s power lines. We take extra care to clear vegetation around our large transmission lines in order to keep the electricity flowing to our member co-ops.
