???Celebrating Women's History Month at Central!??? This March, the Women in Leadership (WiL) Council united our teams from all over to honor and uplift women. Throughout the month, many of our business units participated by wearing purple to symbolize justice, dignity, and the fight for gender equality. They also supported women-owned businesses, and collected donations for their local women's shelters. For example, our Central Home Brands team proudly raised $1,500 for The Women's Center of Southeastern Michigan, an organization dedicated to empowering women through counseling, career coaching, and financial education. Our San Diego office enjoyed store walks in purple, a team lunch at a woman-owned restaurant, and made donations to The Princess Project, providing prom dresses and accessories to thousands of California teens who could not otherwise afford them. In Schaumburg, IL, our team celebrated with an array of delicious breakfast sandwiches and fruit courtesy of woman-owned, Chicago-based catering company, Nicole Jordan Catering. In Dallas, we celebrated with artisan marshmallows made by the 10-year-old daughter of employee Nicole Lai, while also collecting toiletries for a local women's shelter. And these are just a few examples! Together, we’re not just recognizing the incredible women in our lives; we’re actively supporting their empowerment and leadership. At both events, the team proudly showcased the CHEWS for Good? Campaign and highlighted Nylabone as a trusted behavioral solution for pets. Rebecca and Jen’s mentorship journey was a win-win—Rebecca sharpened her leadership skills, while Jen gained career insights and a strong network. We have?an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced?Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs (FSRA) Manager?to join our team in Phoenix! This position will support all applicable Central animal food facilities, distribution centers, and third-party manufacturers as well as other Central business units. The FSRA Manager’s principal responsibility will be to ensure that Central facilities and products meet all applicable local, state, and federal regulations as well as food safety regulatory requirements. This position offers an attractive hybrid schedule and includes interacting directly with Operational leaders, site Quality Managers and other employees focusing on supporting our food safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
