Congratulations to our two Student Chapters! At the ABC National Construction Management Competition, we had some major wins. Seminole State College took home third place in Safety and Quality Control. An amazing accomplishment for their second time competing. UCF took home second place in Estimating, Quality Control and Project Management! Then they took Second place overall! They have both worked extremely hard over the past two months to get to this point and it has truly paid off. Building the Workforce today for the future of tomorrow... Wednesday February 12th, we had the opportunity to host 50 Orange County Public Schools Middle School Students from Freedom Middle and Westridge Middle. The kids got a chance to experience hands-on activities related to the Construction Industry thanks for our members who were able to join us from DEWALT, Skanska, Baker Construction, Cemex (Kennedy Concrete) and SAVI EHS. A special thank you to DEWALT for sponsoring dinner for the kids!

Tuesday, February 11th, ABC Central Florida had the pleasure of hosting the Monthly Membership Meeting for NAWIC Greater Orlando Chapter 73. This meeting was combined with mini workshops from Milwaukee Tool, Energy Air, Inc., GMF Steel Group, and SAVI EHS, where NAWIC Members got to learn a new skill at each station.
