One of the top reasons our members call us is to ask for a copy of their Member ID Card. Members can now instantly receive a digital copy on their cell phone! The digital ID card option has already been popular with members, with over 400 digital ID cards generated since we launched the option in early September. The digital ID card demonstrates our values of collaboration and improvement. It's one more way we are advancing our mission to provide accessible, quality health care guided by local innovation! #managedcare #healthycommunities #healthcare

关于我们
Central California Alliance for Health (the Alliance) is an award-winning regional Medi-Cal managed care plan that provides health insurance for children, adults, seniors and people with disabilities in Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties. We currently serve more than 418,000 members. Founded in 1996, the Alliance was established to improve access to health care for lower income residents. We have pursued this mission by linking members to primary care physicians and clinics who assist in managing their care. Our vision is: Healthy People. Healthy Communities. That vision remains at the forefront of the work we do every day. Come join our team!

We are proud to announce that through our Housing Fund program, we have invested more than $45 million into 28 housing projects across the Alliance service areas of Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties. Earlier this month, the Alliance hosted the Merced Health Fair in Merced County. At this fair, families got free checkups, vaccinations, learned about local resources and had some family-friendly fun! Despite high temperatures of over 90 degrees, we had a turnout of around 1,000 people. Some highlights from the fair included: - Golden Valley Health Centers administering hundreds of flu shots. - The Alliance, with provisions from the Merced County Food Bank, distributing hundreds of food bags. - UCSF Fresno administering COVID vaccines until their supply was exhausted, along with childhood immunizations. - 39 booths staffed by organizations providing families with important resources. - Giving out toys and Halloween costumes to families! Events like these help us provide care that supports the whole person. We go beyond just providing health care, connecting our members to day-to-day resources. Thank you to the amazing organizations that attended this event, helping us further our vision of healthy people, healthy communities. #managedcare #healthycommunities #mercedcounty

While Hispanics and Latinos constitute over 40% of California’s population, Latino physicians make up less than 7% of the total physician workforce. At the Alliance, we are continuing to strengthen our provider network through grants to recruit a wide variety of medical professionals. We are also allocating $152.4 million over the next three years aimed at increasing members’ access to culturally and linguistically appropriate care. #LatinoPhysicianDay #managedcare #healthycommunities

Family Health and Fitness Day is Sept. 28, so we asked our staff how they stay active and healthy. They shared some beautiful photos and great ideas! - Multimedia Designer Katé Lewis says her family's favorite activity to stay active and spend time together is being in nature and hiking. Her son, William (age 3), has hiked as far as 6 miles! - Communications Project Specialist Randi Motson's ideal fitness routine includes unplugging in nature on a great hike, dancing and hula hooping. - Chief Operating Officer Van Wong also loves being in nature, especially hiking in California's beautiful national parks like Yosemite. How do you like to stay active and healthy? #healthycommunities #fitness #healthandfitnessday

Hispanic & Latino Heritage Month is about celebrating culture. But it’s also a time to think about health. We’re working hard to remove barriers to health and make health care better for everyone. Here are some of the things we’re doing: - Language services: We have interpreters who can speak Spanish to help our members talk to their doctor or understand their health plan. - Connecting with our community: As a local health plan, we work with community groups to offer fun and helpful health events and programs in all counties we serve. - Providing helpful services: We have a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line, behavioral health services to support our members' mental health, transportation services and more.
